The Fast & Furious Jump Off Launch Night in UK is on Tuesday 31st March, Fast & Furious the movie hits cinemas April 10 and the Official Soundtrack is out on April 6.
As part of the launch Jump Off TV have a really interesting competition for budding musicians, artists and producers.
The racey 45 second trailer is action packed with a great beat but the good people at Universal and Polydor want to see it bettered.
Watch and download the 45sec Fast & Furious Trailer from the link below (right at the bottom of this blog). Create a NEW and ORIGINAL composition for the entire clip (the dialogue must remain). Re-compress the trailer with your beat and submit. All submissions will be uploaded to the Jump Off TV YouTube Channel.
If you don’t have the resources to create a DivX or mp4, please submit an mp3 of the exact length. Note, this may take longer for us to upload to YouTube.
THE RULES
- Open to UK residents only
- Must be an original composition with no use of any samples
- Composition must fit the clip provided and include the dialogue
THE DEADLINE
- Mp4 or DivX must be submitted to fastandfurious@jumpoff.tv
- Submissions must be sent via email with a Sendspace link or similar for your file.
- Include your name and a contact number in the email.
- Closing date for submissions is 12noon GMT on Friday 3rd April 2009

- Your beat will play across all official Fast & Furious web sites
- 2 Tickets to the London Tunnel Run on April 8
- A private cinema screening for you and 30 friends
- A copy of the Official Soundtrack featuring new joints from Busta Rhymes, Robin Thicke and Pitbull’s single ‘Blanco
