The Beijing Olympics are almost upon us. 12 days to go and so much to look forward to. The Bird’s Nest stadium it’s self is incredible (see below), Phillips Idowu in the triple jump, the boxing, swimming, football, the 4 x 400m relay, high jump, decathlon and plenty plenty more. I’m really looking forward to the main event in my eyes, the 100m. The showdown. Fastest man on the planet. The world records stands at 9.72 and is held by Usain Bolt. Can anyone go faster? I’m sure his fellow countryman, Asafa Powell who beat Bolt in the there last encounter will be trying his best to.
